DizzyNails

Are you dizzy with excitement about nail polish?

 Check this one out!
Two coats of Orly Rococo A-Go-Go (name, y u so silly?!).
The formula was a bit too thick and almost tricky for me - I definitely should have just thinned it right away.
Still, it's absolutely to die for, and it turned out just fine!
The next day, I added a coat of Inglot 202 flakes.  Here are a few indoor pics first.
 YIKES!  SO BEAUTIFUL!
As you will see in a moment, the flakes look mostly orange in the bottle, so I was pleasantly surprised to see so much green come out to play!
 It's rainbow-rific, that's for sure.
 Now for some outdoor pictures.
 Can you even stand it?!
I definitely need to wear more flakes.  Definitely.
I really like the Inglot flakies because they come out so dense and easily.  I just wish the bottle wasn't so tiny!
 What are your favorite flakes?
It's nice to see so many companies jumping on the bandwagon now.
Hopefully we won't be having any more flakie polish shortages in the near future.  :)
Thanks for taking the time to stop by!

Rococo a-go-go is so beautiful. My bottle of it wasn't thick though, but felt just perfect to apply. The Inglot flakie makes it even more beautiful, it's amazing.

wooow, soo pretty, these red/orangey/greeny flakies look best with a purple base imo, but i'm yet to try it ! this is beautiful though ! :)

Gorgeous combo!

Oooooo!!!! Sooo pretty! That combo is just fabulous.

Rococo-A-Go-Go is the last polish from the Mineral FX polish I need. And now, I really, really need it. lol

Have you tried the new Fingerpaints flakies? I am wearing Twisted over black right now and it's sooooo pretty. Not as dense as the lovely Nubar, but I think the wide range of visible flake shapes and colors(orange, green, blue, purple) make up for that. I've been following your blog for over a year now. Thank you for inspiring me to start getting into nail polish! :)

Rainbowify Me - ah, I'm glad your bottle was good and not bothersome! It's not a big deal, for sure. I already added thinner so it'll be better for me next time around. :)

Ice Queen - it's a fabulous color! I hope you can get it.

Rachel - hi! I haven't tried the FP flakies yet, no. I did manage to buy them all, though! They look so nice and I've loved all the pictures I've seen of folks wearing them. Thanks so much for following and I'm so happy to have had any part in making your polish journey more exciting! :)

That's an amazing combo!

So beautiful! & Yes, wear more flakies! :D

Ahhhhh, amazing!

Yep...gorgeous!!

Do the inglot flakies give you a lot of texture like they do for me? I love them so much but they are chunky monkey on the nails. It takes like 2 coats of top coat to smooth them out a bunch.

Great layering. Seriously pretty!

LesleyKat - I didn't have much texture, no. I did one coat over my previous mani and then just one coat of Seche Vite. Honestly, it could have used another coat of top coat to be perfectly smooth, but I can't complain too much because it was nearly smooth. :) Was that even an answer?! LOL

Holy Cow! That purple is amazing!!!!!! And the inglot too! This manicure is on fire!

Those flakes are awesome!

This Is Me!

My photo
I love color, beauty, creativity, animals, and being care-free. I'm not care-free, in reality, but would like to think it's an attainable state of being! I do like to bend the rules when it serves a greater purpose and I'm all about being authentic. Here I am, take me or leave me! I suppose I'd call myself a sensitive soul. I think I feel things more deeply and ponder things more thoroughly than your average bear.
