 Here is my first mani using an Emily de Molly glitter polish!  It's called Super Vixen.

 I used OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls for underwear here, then added a coat of Super Vixen.  The glitters were surprisingly easy to work with.  I used mostly painting motions with some dabbing.  I suppose I could have got more large circle glitters if I had gone fishing for them.

 I'm still really happy with how it turned out!  Also, I used two coats of Gelous topped with Butter London top coat after all the polish.

 Hello friends!  I've been enjoying a little vacation time.  It's not officially over yet, but I thought it was time for an update.  This is OPI Have You Seen My Limo?

 I regret not getting better pictures of it.  I also am annoyed that my tips peek out white, just a tiny bit.  I didn't wrap them and my top coat shrunk ever so slightly.  Thankfully, it was not so noticeable in person.

 I can't recall if I did three or four coats here, but I had no trouble with application.  The color is really unique and different from what I had expected.  It's more plummy brown that I had thought it would be!  I guess from all the pictures I've seen before, I expected a cooler toned purply gray sort of color.

 Time for some BLING.  This is Nars Disco Inferno with OPI Which is Witch?

 I used three coats of Disco Inferno and made sure to let each coat dry just a bit before moving onto the next (I've learned that sheer shimmers like to bubble on me if I rush them).

 I would have done four coats of Disco Inferno if I was going to wear it on its own, but since I layered Which is Witch? over top, it was good enough at three.

 One coat of OPI Which is Witch?, a coat of Gelous, and a coat of Sephora X top coat finished it off.

 I don't usually like glitters over any metallic looking sort of polishes, but this one works pretty good I think.  It's just fun to have the duochrome and the holo glitters together!

 I have two of the new Rainbow Honeys to show you!  I managed to use them both in this cute Valentine's inspired look.  XOXO is the bottle you see here - red, pink, gold, holo, and all sorts of iridescent shimmery goodness!

 I used one coat of XOXO over top of OPI Funkey Dunkey (two coats).  I adore XOXO as an easy and beautiful glitter topper.

 For my accent fingers I used two coats of Rainbow Honey Sweet Talk.  It's a soft white creme with pink, green, and purple glitters.  It has a touch of nearly hidden shimmer, as well -  best I can tell it's kind of pinky-peach.

 Application on Sweet Talk was relatively easy, you just have to be moderately careful and slow, making sure not to have too much on the brush.  I should have waited longer between coats since I have a few tiny bubbles.

 I used a coat of Gelous over top of every nail, just to be sure everything was perfectly smooth, then finished with Crystal top coat (Starlight and Sparkles).  I have some tip wear after three days, but all in all, it's still looking really cute!

 I've had this on for four days now, and oddly, it seems like longer.  This is four thin coats of OPI The World is Not Enough.

 I used Sephora X base coat under it and Sephora X top coat over top.  For whatever reason, the X base and top combined with OPI has been giving me better than normal wear!  Hooray!

 It's still not as good as my nine days with X polish...but four or five days with OPI is novel and fun for me!

 I tried to wear this one earlier and had some icky bubbling, likely because I went too fast.  I say "too fast," but really it was as fast as I normally go (not waiting between coats or anything).  This type of polish, I find, really needs some patience and babying.  What should I even call this finish?  Metallic shimmer?!  It's freaking gorgeous, whatever it is.

 So, yeah, just GO SLOW, and it will all be okay and be totally worth it.  I waited between my coats, I made sure to do thinner coats than normal (thus the need for four coats), and presto-magic-o, my mani was near perfect!

 Also, just so you know, this is way prettier in person than in pictures.  It's super shiny and metallic looking.  In some lights it appears a bit purple to me, which I really enjoy.

 I actually wore this about a week ago.  I've just been slacking.

 This is two coats of OPI Absolutely Alice, but of course.

 I've worn it before, but I just couldn't resist it's sparkly goodness.  This is one of my faves, for sure.

 I used Sephora X base and top coats with this, and layered a coat of Gelous under the X top coat.  It was not perfectly smooth, but close enough.  I wore this for three days - I had a chip on the third day, but tried not to let it bother me too much.  Still, good wear for a glitter bomb, for me!

 How on earth has it been 10 days since my last post?!

 I blame illness, retail work, and the Holidays.

 This here is three coats of OPI Speak for Your-Elf, a mini from the Ulta Holiday set from - I want to say - last year.  I did another Sephora X experiment by using their base and top coat with this mani.

 Results?  HUGE success!  I'm on day seven currently, with only tip wear!  This is so cool.

 Ah, this was my previous mani, which I didn't really get any proper pictures of.  I used NerdLacquer Don't Panic (green) and Data Squirrel (red).  It was my glittery funky Christmas themed mani.

 I'm tired of being back-logged on pictures and posts, so voila, here is a catch up post!  This first one is a dark grayish green StrangeBeautiful topped with OPI Simmer and Shimmer.  One coat of each.

 Below is Butter London Jack the Lad.  I believe it was just two coats, but don't quote me on that.

 Much prettier in the bottle, under the beaming lights at Nordstorm, but still lovely on the nail.

 Next up is Illamasqua Creator at two coats.  I freaking love this one, no surprise there.

 I'm not sure why I decided to include the above blurry picture, but we'll just move right along and get to some that are in focus.

 Creator has tiny silver particles that resemble flakes.  They are irregular in shape.  Also, there are very occasional holo glitters (see that one blue twinkle in the bottle above?) and medium sized silver hexes (I think).

 You can see a silver hex on the very edge of my middle finger below.  Great formula, as always.

 And now for the voting day nails!  I used a coat of RBL Teal and then topped it with a coat of Shimmer Polish Nicole.

 I really loved wearing this because it was so festive and pretty.  It wore well for a good three days, too.  Yeah, that's "good" for me.  Anything past two days is good in my book.

 I love the glitters in Nicole - the shapes, the colors, the ratios, the dispersion.  Love, love, love it!  I used a combination of dabbing and painting motions to apply it.  Shimmer polishes can be found here, although it appears the shop is closed until Nov. 26.

 I may have saved the best for last, which is Pahlish Toxic and Timeless!

 I used two coats and this mani also wore for a respectable three days.  I finished the mani with Gelous, Instant Artificials, and then Butter London's quick dry top coat.  It was perfectly smooth and glassy.

 I had more big yellow hexes on my right hand, probably because I didn't take the time to shake my bottle super thoroughly and it had settled some when I grabbed it to do my mani.  Nonetheless, I absolutely adore the result, the polish, and it lived up to my every grand expectation!
