Hey, y'all!  It's time for a posty post.  I've been such a full-time, hardcore slacker-oo lately.  Partly I'd like to blame the fact that I get longer wear-time with my manis (thanks to some awesome top coat action).  Partly I blame grief.  And mostly, I'm just being lazy, I think.
This is I Love Nail Polish Mutagen.  I'm pretty sure it was three coats.  I finished with my new favorite thang, the Starlight and Sparkles Crystal top coat.  That stuff is the shiznit for me.
These pictures don't even begin to capture the gorgeousness of Mutagen!  You know the drill.  Holo + Duo = heaven in your eyeballs.
Below I did two coats of Cult Nails Wack Slacks.  Again, topped with S&S Crystal top coat.  I needed a mani that would wear well for a trip, and this did just that.  I got just under a week with it.
The formula is great on Wack Slacks.  Very opaque and also relatively easy to clean up!  I think it could be a one-coater for sure, if you are careful with your application.
I wore this to my grandfather's funeral.  No particular reason - I just wanted something moody yet comforting.  It was good for that for me.
I hope everyone is doing well out there and I also hope to post more, more regularly, more sooner.  Ha!  You get what I'm saying.  Thanks for reading this, if you did.  :)

Oo.  Hey.  Sorry for the quick 'n nasty pictures here.  This is Color Club Halo Hues Beyond.
I only used two coats here.  No base or top coat!  And it wore very nicely for about five days!!
While it's not super holo or gorgeous in indirect light, it's still quite nice.  I love how quick and easy these are.  I wore Cherubic on a visit to see family, which made for a very easy mani change while away from home.  They apply great, dry quick, and last well.  Yay for Halo Hues!!!!
Now this is my first time wearing a Jin Soon nail polish.  This is two coats of Azurite (with base and top coat).  It's a lovely deep blue with a relatively subtle holo effect.
 It's gorgeous!  I love it!
This one didn't wear too great on me - I forget why.  I've been doing too much experimenting lately with various new-to-me top coats and even bases.  I think I just got some tip wear (bordering on a chip) that annoyed me, so I changed after a couple of days (that's not uncommon for me with very dark, saturated colors).

I also got Obsidian from the same collection.  It's a multi-colored sparkly black polish.  I'll be excited to try that one soon!

Sorry I've been so slow with my posts.  I am really going to try to pick up the pace a bit.

I wore this fabulous and most sparkly manicure for about a week!
I started with two coats of Orly Luxe, then added just a coat of Lippmann Glitter And Be Gay.
I needed two coats of Gelous and then used my Sephora X top coat over everything.
I am very pleased with this and I think Glitter And Be Gay is going to be really rad over lots of polishes!  The base is slightly tinted yellow, though, so you'll want to take that into consideration for layering.
And if you are wondering, like I was, about the small glitters that look really dark, almost black, then I am here to tell you that they are in fact blue.  They just look black at certain angles.
I think it might be a darker blue than the blue used for the larger hexes.
Also, if you haven't taken the time to fully drool over the holographic rainbow-y awesomeness of the bottle (see bottle just above), then please feel free to look over the entire post yet again!  I'm most fond of the third picture and then this one right above.  :)

For a chunky glitter, Glitter And Be Gay applied very easily.  I was careful and cautious, but the glitters dispersed themselves really evenly.  I did use occasional dabbing motions, but by and large it was painting.

This is about 2 and a half coats of Nails Inc. Hatton Garden.
You can see my turquoise t-shirt reflecting in the bottle cap!
I did not end up wearing this mani for long at all - something about it just bugged me.  Mostly it was that little sliver of white nail end showing on the right side of my ring finger nail (see below).  Grrr.
I believe I used two coats of Shimmer Glass under my Sephora X top coat.
I will have to give this one another try because it's really fun and pretty to look at!

Here is Rainbow Honey Schrammi, as promised.  I used Costa del Sol, again, for easy glitter tips!
I only needed two easy coats of Schrammi, which is a dark coral sort of color with lovely gold shimmer.
I got a little carried away with my glitter tips and I have to laugh at the bars all over the place on my ring finger.  I still really like it!
Schrammi looks pretty nice in these pictures, but I have to say that in real life, in person, I was a bit disappointed in terms of how the color looked next to my skin.  It reminded me more of tomato soup and felt very Fall-like, instead of coral and summery.  I think it would look even better on tan or deeper skin tones.
Thank you so much to Rainbow Honey for generously providing Schrammi and Costa del Sol to me for review purposes.  The FAB exclusive set featuring three beautiful colors can be found here.  And there is more!

I just ordered a LE mini glitter polish set as well as the "Summer Juice" set (by Rainbow Honey) and some really cute skull earrings (not by Rainbow Honey).  :D

Rainbow Honey recently sent me minis of the FAB summer set (trio).  Here I used Tenda and Costa del Sol to do my first ever glitter tips mani!  How exciting!!
I used two coats of Tenda, a gorgeous grassy, bright green with gold shimmer.  It was nearly opaque and perfect at one coat.  Then I dabbed a little Costa del Sol on the ends and finished with top coat (smooth with only one coat of top coat!).  I've been wearing it for nearly a week now and still love the combination.  It kind of reminds me of Kate Spade somehow - you know, that classic green she likes to use?  I fear my pictures aren't entirely color accurate.
Rainbow Honey always sends the cutest, most delightful packages.  I love their little boxes and stickers and even the sizzle (that's the filler stuff in the box that pads the polishes)!  Too cute.  It's nice that they care so much and it makes you feel really special to get a package.
My apologies and please don't hate me, but I believe the summer set has sold out already!  :(  I was too slow and regret not having swatched all three polishes earlier.  I have one more polish to try out next.  It's called Schrammi and it's a deep coral with gold shimmer.  With my manis lasting so much longer now, it's hard to fit in swatching (plus, I'm a lazy butt).

Thanks so much to Rainbow Honey for providing these beautiful polishes to me for review!  You can see more of their lovely polishes at their website here.  I highly recommend them.

EDIT:  No hate is needed!  The FAB colors are available right now!  WOOHOO!  Go get 'em HERE.

Prepare yourself for too many pictures of this one!
Also, my apologies for not getting proper bottle shots of all the polishes involved.
Okay, so are you wanting to know what I used for this?
I started with Cult Nails Nevermore.  Then I added a coat of Ozotic Pro 528.
After that, I used Lynnderella Bride of Franken for extra blue iridescence.
The last polish I added was Lynnderella Shape Shifter (newer version).
I finished with two coats of Gelous (three even just on one nail where a star glitter was in a precarious and poky position) and then Sephora X top coat.
I enjoyed wearing this so so much.  One of my all time favorites easily!!  It wore very well, too, much to my happiness.  I want to say it was on for a good week!  :)

This is two coats of Orly Miss Conduct.
It's such a happy, cheery color.
The scattered holo effect is quite beautiful!
And just to speed up my super slow attempt at catching up - here is another one for you!  Misa Grey Matters.
I believe this was two coats also.
I had no troubles with application on either.  Easy breezy!
The tiny speckles make it interesting for sure.

This Is Me!

My photo
I love color, beauty, creativity, animals, and being care-free. I'm not care-free, in reality, but would like to think it's an attainable state of being! I do like to bend the rules when it serves a greater purpose and I'm all about being authentic. Here I am, take me or leave me! I suppose I'd call myself a sensitive soul. I think I feel things more deeply and ponder things more thoroughly than your average bear.
