 I am currently sporting China Glaze Liquid Crystal as my mani.  I used three coats of the polish, one coat of Gelous, and a coat of Starlight and Sparkles Crystal top coat.  Application was super easy.
 I've been on a creme binge for a while now, so I wanted to break with a really, really good glitter.  Success!
 I tried to capture the really cool duochrome shift to purple and pink, but it's so tough and I was working with late day lighting in most of these.  I'm sure you can see it well enough in the bottle, though.
 I'm in love with this!
I still have some of the other Prismatic Chroma Glitters that I've not yet worn.  What's your favorite?

 I've been having weird luck with my manis lately - some lasting a good, long time and others chipping within a day.  Here are two of the unlucky ones!  This is Deborah Lippmann Let's Go Crazy.  I only needed two coats of polish, and it applied very nicely.  I did, however, use two coats of Gelous over top, plus top coat!
 It was super smooth and shiny.  I had a little bit of tip shrink (which annoys me to no end), but it was hardly noticeable in person.  I would definitely like to wear this again, and hopefully for more than a day.
 This is one coat of Rescue Beauty Lounge Dead Calm with one coat of  Rainbow Honey Mt. Moon over top.
 Dead Calm applied very nicely, but was a bugger to clean up since it stains and clings to the skin so much.
 Mt. Moon has a really lovely duochrome shift from blue to purple.  I don't think my pictures here captured it all that well.
 With the random flakey white bits, it was almost a galaxy nail type of look!
I was also sad that this one didn't last well on me.  Beautiful, but short-lived.

 For this mani I used Color Club Raspberry Rush and Essie Beyond Cozy.
 I did three coats of Raspberry Rush.  It's candy scented - slightly obnoxious but it did fade within about a day.  It's a super bright and cheery neon pink.
 For Beyond Cozy I only needed two coats, but I did top with Gelous before my top coat.
 I liked that this was kind of fun, summery, and a little unexpected for me.
 And here is another one for you!  Rainbow Honey Tessie.
 This is two coats of periwinkle perfection.  I cannot tell you how much I adore this color and it's pretty soft shimmer.  It's more purple in real life.  Think right between purple and blue.  These pictures make it look far too blue.
 Tessie just makes me happy.  It's such a soothing, comforting color for me.
 The formula was thick but easy to work with.  Check out the shimmer in the bottle below!
I'm debating if I should get a full sized bottle of this one, assuming it's still available!  I probably won't, just knowing how much polish I have and how much is untried!  But dang, this color kills me.

 Okay, so are you wanting to know what I used for this?
 I started with Cult Nails Nevermore.  Then I added a coat of Ozotic Pro 528.
 After that, I used Lynnderella Bride of Franken for extra blue iridescence.
 The last polish I added was Lynnderella Shape Shifter (newer version).
 I finished with two coats of Gelous (three even just on one nail where a star glitter was in a precarious and poky position) and then Sephora X top coat.
I enjoyed wearing this so so much.  One of my all time favorites easily!!  It wore very well, too, much to my happiness.  I want to say it was on for a good week!  :)

 I've been mildly obsessed with Illamasqua Purity as of late.  I just love how it looks on me.
 I'm pretty sure you've seen it here before - now you'll see it again with Lynnderella Ice the Snowcake over top!  I adore this combo.
 I used 1-2 coats of Ice the Snowcake, using brush stroke movements as well as dabbing.  Mostly the glitters were well behaved - only once did I have trouble with them wanting to clump up on each other.
As I recall, I used two coats of Gelous and then finished with Sephora X top coat.  Not perfectly smooth, but super shiny and good enough for me!  :)  I wonder if I'll ever tire of Purity.

 My swell husband helped me to get the new Lynnderella Holiday collection.  Isn't he great?!  This is my first mani using one of those fine, fine polishes.  I chose The Present is a Gift for my first one.  :)
 Here are two pictures of the underwear I used - a StrangeBeautiful from the Dickensian volume.  I used two coats.  It was thick, but good.  I like that the color has a delicate silver shimmer.
 The tall and skinny StrangeBeautifuls need to be used with care, I find, or else you can easily knock them over whilst painting your nails!
 Okay, back to pretty, fancy, glittah pictures!  These glitters are just magical.
 I used one coat of The Present is a Gift, doing a combination of painting and then dabbing movements.  The glitters gave me no trouble at all during application.
 I smoothed it out and finished with a coat of Gelous, a coat of Sephora X top coat, and finally a coat of Seche Vite.  My favorite spot on this mani is where the two black diamonds almost meet on my ring finger.  :)
I have a few tiny bubbles near the end of my middle finger, mainly, but I think I'm making progress or something because I just didn't care (well, after the initial moment of horror)!  Also, it helps that you really cannot see them in person.  I've had this mani on for three days now, and will be changing it today because of some tip wear and a small chip.

 This is Finger Paints Plum Startled.  I believe I used three coats here.
 It's a beautiful deep purple with iridescent shimmer.  What is not to love?!
I wore this about a week ago.  I think I have some catching up to do!  On that note, if you did not know, I recently started a separate makeup blog, featuring makeup looks I wear on a regular basis.  I equally love nail polish and makeup.  I did not want to turn DizzyNails into a makeup and nail polish blog (no offense to those that do mix pleasures), so I've started DizzyMakeup.  Suddenly I feel very shy about you all seeing my big mug!  Take a look if you'd like, but by no means feel obligated.  :)

 This is my first real Shimmer Polish success!  I really love this.
 I started with a coat of the Finger Paints black polish (I'm forgetting the name at the moment).
 Then, I added a coat of Natalie.  I believe I finished with Gelous and then Butter London's top coat.  It was not completely smooth, but very close to it.
 I'm sure this would look really cool over lots of colors!  I suppose my default base has become black because it makes everything pop out all dramatic like.  :)
 This reminds me of some cosmic acid trip or something.  It's so lively and zany!
Hooray for Shimmer success!  I look forward to trying the other polishes I have from this lovely indie brand.

 I got my new Lynnderellas this past week and I was really excited about them!  I still am.  :)  I decided to wear The Stars In Her Eyes... first.
 I started with two coats of a-england Elaine for a base.  Then I dabbed on a coat of The Stars In Her Eyes...  It was somewhat thick and the little tiny stars wanted to chunk together, making application a bit difficult.
 Look how pretty it is, though!  I love it.  I used two coats of Gelous followed by Seche Vite.  It was not entirely smooth, so I added a coat of Barielle Manicure Extender the following day, which made it more smooth and glassy.
 I was really happy to get two good days out of this, because the Lynnderella, Gelous, and SV combination does not usually last me more than one day.  The only reason I had chosen to use them in the first place was that I was in quite a big hurry.
I love the big star on my ring finger.  It makes me happy.

I love color, beauty, creativity, animals, and being care-free. I'm not care-free, in reality, but would like to think it's an attainable state of being! I do like to bend the rules when it serves a greater purpose and I'm all about being authentic. Here I am, take me or leave me! I suppose I'd call myself a sensitive soul. I think I feel things more deeply and ponder things more thoroughly than your average bear.
