Two nights ago I put on OPI DS Diamond. I used two coats. These first few pictures are from weird outdoor lighting at night.

This applied fabulously.

It's a really neat color that looks somewhat gray, somewhat silver, a little bit purple, and also a bit mauve at times.

I really like it!

I pretty much love all the Designer Series polishes - even the ones that aren't holographic.

Yes, it looks crazy and green in the bottle. I don't know why, but my bottle had green looking stuff in it when I bought it and no matter how much I shake it, it really won't completely go away or mix in.

I was lucky enough to find China Glaze Crackles yesterday! I cannot tell you how excited I was and am! I've been stalking them for weeks now and as I'm sure you know, they are quite hard to find (for a reasonable price). Needless to say, I found them all between two different Ulta stores, and was wanting them so bad I didn't mind too much paying a little more than what I would at Sally's.

Here it is, my very first crack manicure! This is Crushed Candy.

I really love this and am very happy with how it turned out. I'm thinking I'm going to have a lot of fun with my Crackles.

I realize I'm a little slow here catching on to this trend, but hey, better late than never, right?

I wasn't 100% sure that I would like the whole Shatter/Crackle thing, but I think I can safely say now that I do!

Hello, Lovelies! Right now I am wearing this combination: Ulta Bam-Blue-Zled with OPI DS Shimmer.

Please forgive my poor dry, haggard looking skin/cuticles as well as that groovy dent on my middle finger (this is what happens when you thin your quick dry top coat too much!).

I used just two coats of Bam-Blue-Zled and one coat of Shimmer. Good ol' Shimmer. It makes everything better!

I really love these two together and some of you may be realizing that it looks quite a bit like China Glaze 2Nite. :)

I have an exciting update regarding my experience with Palladio Fuse base coat! On this mani I decided to layer Gelous first, then Fuse, and then do my normal thing. I was hoping to get the stain prevention benefits of Gelous but keep the awesome staying power of the Fuse.

Well, this is day three and I am still going strong! Not a chip in site. I am thrilled. Of course my nails are already stained from a week or two of just the Fuse on its own, but I think I'm going to use this combination from now on and I *should* be golden!

OPI DS Mystery, as promised! Three coats. I adore this - I can't even quite say why.

The shimmah is almost like tiny little flakies that flash from yellow gold, coppery gold, to a green gold! That part is mostly in the bottle.

On the nails it looks like rich, deep, varied tones of gold.

While the polish itself is deep, deep purple, it reads more of black.

I made an excellent combination this week with OPI Midnight Blue Glitter and OPI DS Sensation. I didn't really have a feel for how it would look when finished, but I knew I liked both on their own and I was hoping for a spectacular combo. Here is three coats of MBG.

Now that's pretty ridiculously sweet, huh?! One coat of OPI DS Sensation added.

Together, it reminds me somehow of one of my favorite polishes, OPI DS Royal. Only it's more metallic and opaque looking. All of these pictures are fab and yet somehow don't fully capture the amazingness of what it looked like on my nails for over two days.

Hooray for the weekend!  And double hooray for not having to work tomorrow!!  I want to catch up a little, since I have some pictures of recent manis that haven't been posted yet.  Here are two from the past week.  First up is OPI DS Treasure.

Here is a layer combination:  Sephora by OPI (which I will from now on refer to as $OPI) Ocean Love Potion with $OPI Lagoon-a Beach.  Only one coat of each!

I couldn't tell you why it looks like there is a crease/dent across my index fingernail.  I noticed it after I took the pictures and then it was gone by the time the polish had dried completely.  I really don't think I dented it or anything like that.  Strange!  Ghosty dent.  I could handle a million ghost dents, I think, as long as my nails looked smooth when dry.  

I maaaaay or maaay not have purchased large amounts of nail polish online over the past week!  (read:  I did.)  I look forward to posting pictures of Barry M and the BB Couture for Nails limited edition Hot Rod collection soon!!

Here is a pink stunner from Dior, Garnet, which I believe is from the Spring '09 collection, limited edition for Macy's.  I got this months ago and only just a few days ago wore it for the first time.  Quite lovely!  

I couldn't leave well enough alone, of course.  I added a coat of OPI DS Shimmer!

This is my second ever Independence Day koni (short for konadicure).  I hope you like it.  I started with two coats each of OPI DS Fantasy and China Glaze Ruby Pumps.  Both applied excellently, I'm happy to say!

I then added the shooting star design from plate m33 using Konad Special White polish.

Next, I added more stars using two different designs from plate m3 with Konad Special Silver polish.  Got a little carried away here.  :)

And then I painted on white stripes to the Ruby Pumps fingers using a white Stripe Rite polish I got at Sally Beauty Supply.  This was my first time using a Stripe Rite and I was very pleased with how easy it is.  It's basically like normal polish but comes with a really long, skinny brush.  The formula is smooth and almost totally opaque.

You will notice my right hand below.  Mostly I just wanted to reassure my readers that I in fact do have a right hand.  :)

The big white star on my ring finger smudged a little.  I have no idea why, but at least it's not terrible.

Mm mm mm!  Star-spangled goodness on ma hands!

I am in shock about having to get up at 5:30 tomorrow morning for an early work shift.  I haven't been getting up early for quite some time!  *sigh*  My only consolation is that I will have these pretty little fingers to look at.
