Are you dizzy with excitement about nail polish?

I've never in my life actually wanted to put on a nude nail polish before. Never. But, the other night, for some reason unknown to me, I did want to put on a nude polish. Specifically, Cult Nails Cruisin' Nude. This is two coats, shown below. Sorry about the acetone abused skin!

Cruisin' Nude has a really pretty pink shimmer to it. I decided to add a coat of a long-time lemming for me that I just recently acquired, OPI What's Dune?

Aaaaahhhhhhhhh LOVES IT SO MUCH!!!

The holo is awesome, even with two top coats on! And it looks incredibly great in indoor lighting even when the holo is not revealing itself.

Understated yet flashy, dare I say? I have no idea what's going on with me that I'm craving this type of mani. In any case, I'm just going to go with it.

If you happen to have these polishes, or even a similar nude to put under What's Dune?, I highly recommend it! I ordered Cult Nails polishes from their site HERE. I'm not affiliated in any way with this brand, but I do know that it is a brand spanking new baby brand of polish, created by a fellow nail blogger, and she even lives really close to me here in Florida! How cool is that?!

I don't own a single nude, but this makes me want to buy one!

I just found your (AMAZING) blog and kept reading & reading. I'm following now too. :)

PS: I'm not a huge fan of nude polishes but you've just shown me how beautiful they really can be!

That combo is awesome!

LOVE this look! Can you suggest something similar to What's Dune?

Thanks!
Karli

Karli - thank you very much! I so wish I could come up with anything remotely close to What's Dune? OPI Designer Series Shimmer comes close, but is not exactly the same. Color Club Love 'Em Leave 'Em comes to mind because it's a beige holo - somewhat similar. I do hope this helps!

This Is Me!

My photo
I love color, beauty, creativity, animals, and being care-free. I'm not care-free, in reality, but would like to think it's an attainable state of being! I do like to bend the rules when it serves a greater purpose and I'm all about being authentic. Here I am, take me or leave me! I suppose I'd call myself a sensitive soul. I think I feel things more deeply and ponder things more thoroughly than your average bear.
