DizzyNails

Are you dizzy with excitement about nail polish?

Here is two coats of Zoya Julieanne, a beautiful deep purple with lots of chunky glass-fleck shimmer.

The shimmer almost has a pinky-gold duochrome quality to it.

This one applied well for me and I had no issues or complaints.

It's really, really pretty!

It seems like Zoya has made several gorgeous purples along the lines of Julieanne recently.

I'm for it! The more the merrier!

Misa has been kind of sleeping lately, if you know what I mean. Nothing too exciting going on. I did find a couple of colors from recent collections that appealed to me, though! Hooray!

This is two coats of Quirky Smile.

It applied very well and it a lovely color.

For fun, I topped it with a coat of Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Night Lights.

I believe Night Lights is a re-promote. I found it packaged with two lip plumpers in a box at Ulta.

Now, I have zero interest in Sally Hansen lip plumpers (I did try a couple back when Opulent Cloud came out because they looked so pretty) because they don't do much for me and I can't say I like the burning cinnamon type of plumpers.

Night Lights is so pretty and instantly made me think of OPI My Private Jet!

Hello, Gorgeous!

Night Lights turned Quirky Smile into a really pretty forest green. It pretty much completely took away the peacock-blue feel.

It also added a layer of smoke and bling!

I can definitely see this being pretty over almost anything.

And, I haven't ever tried frankening yet, but if I did, I bet Night Lights would fantastic for that, too!

This is Magic Elf from Color Club. I did three coats here. It's from a mini pack and is not available in a full size, yet, to my knowledge.

This color is just stunning! It's so lit, shiny, glowy, and vibrant.

I have to share that the movie Elf, with Will Ferrell, is one of my Holiday favorites. I also love A Christmas Story, Home Alone, The Nutcracker, and The Nightmare Before Christmas.

If you are a green lover, like myself, you're going to want to get this one!

No more long nails! RIP, long nails. Here is Sally Hansen XtremeWear Mystic Lilac. I did three coats.

I was very excited about this when I first saw pictures and heard about it on MUA.

I didn't get around to trying it until about a month ago, though.

I really love it! I loved it so much that I couldn't think of anything to layer over it that wouldn't ruin the subtlety of the green shimmer.

It's kind of purple, kind of taupe, kind of gray. Totally awesome!

I hope Sally Hansen comes out with more colors like this one that are gorgeous, unique, and affordable!

That's all for my commentary! Nothing else to say. :)

Here is yet another belated Halloween look for you. China Glaze Fortune Teller!

Fortune Teller was from last season. I used three coats.

I wasn't sure I'd like it, but I do!

Now, would I want to wear it any time other than around Halloween? Not too sure.

My nails are so long here (read: they are not this long currently)!

I love all the different sizes of glitter in it, half hiding in the black jelly!

For this mani, I started with three coats of Sally Hansen XtremeWear Purple Gala.

I added a coat of Lippmann Boom Boom Pow.

I freaking love that name. Boom Boom Pow.

I had some bubbles from my top coat, so excuse me if you see them.

I love both of these polishes and I think they worked really well together.

Boom Boom Pow kind of killed some of the purple in Purple Gala, but it's still cool.

See the Lippmann bottle? It has gold glitter like IN the glass, near the bottom!

I wonder what else I can put Boom Boom Pow over. Maybe a dark navy? Black, of course.

Ooooo...I wonder what it would look like over a silver!

If you see Purple Gala and you don't already have Hard Candy Mr. Wrong (which is a near dupe), then I'd definitely pick it up!

I recently found a cute "mini" bottle of polish at the Lancome counter! It's called Le Gris L'Wren and I started here with two coats.

It was rather thick, but I made it work and it applied pretty well.

It's like a thick, opaque creme with a fine metallic shimmer.

I really like the color of Le Gris L'Wren, but feel it's begging to be covered in glitter!

I covered it with one coat of Lippmann Today Was A Fairytale.

The two are pretty much meant for each other!

The Lippmann supposedly has micro diamond dust in it or something. All I know is it's really pretty!

The glitters all dispersed themselves very even across the nail.

Another winning glitter by Lippmann in my book!

This Is Me!

My photo
I love color, beauty, creativity, animals, and being care-free. I'm not care-free, in reality, but would like to think it's an attainable state of being! I do like to bend the rules when it serves a greater purpose and I'm all about being authentic. Here I am, take me or leave me! I suppose I'd call myself a sensitive soul. I think I feel things more deeply and ponder things more thoroughly than your average bear.
