Are you dizzy with excitement about nail polish?

This is the most spectacular Estessimo TiNS The Mercury. I used two coats here but I have to tell you that it was nearly perfect in only one coat!

This is a dark blue packed with chunky and smaller holo glitter.

My brush was every so slightly wonky, which made application just a tad tricky.

I finished with two coats of Seche Vite, which is pretty abnormal for me. I don't usually use SV, but went for it this time because I wanted it to dry as quick as possible.

I was a little surprised that the mani was not totally smooth after it dried, though. I feel like it would have been smoother had I gone with Poshe. Ah well. No big deal.

It did wear awesomely, though, so that is terrific. I wore it for nearly four days, which is practically unheard of in my world.

I have to attribute the majority of the awesome wear to my new favorite base coat. I cannot say enough about how freaking awesome it is!!

Dying to know what it is? Palladio Fuse. I got it at Sally Beauty Supply.

This base coat actually greatly assists in adhering the polish to the nail. I cannot say I've experienced that with any other base coats I've used before (and I've tried probably a good dozen or more now).

So, instead of the corners of the polish lifting and/or chipping off within 1-2 days, I can now go twice that long! Even when The Mercury started chipping at the corners ever so slightly, it chipped off in a layer that left a layer of polish still behind on the nail, so that it didn't even look terrible. How cool is that?!

Earlier this week I had a weird day where I ended up changing my polish in quite a hurry before going to work. I very randomly decided on BB Couture for Nails Cleopatra.

This is just two coats and I took these pictures after two days of wear.

I hope you'll pardon the tip wear and smudge on my index finger. This was probably the quickest mani I've every done!

I'd worn Cleopatra before as a pedi and loved it. It's a really cool duochrome teal that has a strong green undercurrent and a purple flash that isn't showing well in my pictures.

Also, bear in mind that in low light this appears as a much darker blue. It's so pretty and mysterious!!

I also love the BB formula and brushes. The brush is pretty skinny, which seems to work well for me.

To those who are patiently waiting on TiNS wheel swatches - they are coming. It will probably be another few days before I can post them, though. Thanks for your patience and understanding!

This is TiNS The Perfect Prince. I used three coats. I probably could have gotten away with two coats, but was worried about that little bit of thinned appearance around the base/cuticles, that sometimes shows when you do one less coat than you should have.

I can't believe I only got one decent picture of this. I'm so mad at myself! It was raining when I took this on Sunday morning. Then I worked all day. During the Super Bowl, some of the corners started lifting. My left hand still looked good, though, so I was holding out for some sun light to take pictures Monday morning. Well, I woke up Monday morning with an evil migraine. YUCK! By the time it had subsided enough for me to get ready for work, I looked outside to the bright glaring sun and couldn't muster going out into it!

Long, boring story. This is why you only get one picture of The Perfect Prince. Reminds you of Charla or Atlantis, no? This is from an older collection, so I think it may be their predecessor!

Here is the mega blingy Estessimo TiNS The Spicy Pinheel. I used three coats.

It's full of silver and gold glitter that appears almost flake like in irregular shape. Perhaps it's just an illusion. In any case, it's very shiny. Very pretty.

If you've never heard of this polish before, you are probably scratching your head and wondering to yourself, "Now what on earth is a 'pinheel'?"

The answer is that I have no idea. A quick Google search leads me to believe that perhaps it has something to do with a boot or maybe even a song.

We just can't take these TiNS names seriously. They are made to give us a laugh. :)

I continue to be amazed and endlessly amused by my TiNS. They are quite possibly the coolest polishes ever.

This last picture was taken under my little desk top Ikea lamp that I use when painting my nails. I thought it nicely showed the super metallic nature of the glitter.

Here's my follow up on the Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips. I made it five days! And, if my right hand had not been more jacked up (it was), then I would have kept going.

You can see that they still look really good! I was surprised and pleased. I have a guilty confession, too. It was kind of nice not painting my nails for five days. ;)

But then I bought some more polish and the itch came back.

Hello, friends and fans! I hope you are all having a lovely Saturday so far. I am very happy to have a day off and plan to make the most of it.

As much as I want to keep trying out my new TiNS polishes (and trust me, I do), I got tempted into trying the new Sally Hansen Salon Effects appliques. Also, I had a break last night, so the uber nubs are back and rockin'.

I've been reading good reviews on these appliques, so I figured, why not? Also, it would be kind of cool to have a little break from my normal routine of changing polish about every other day.

This one is called Blue Ice. I also picked up the one with black and white flower designs. They applied very easily, in spite of my tendency toward perfectionism. I did spend probably a good 40 minutes all together prepping and placing them. I know - I'm sure this could be done WAY quicker!
I cannot lie - I absolutely love the no dry time part. So freaking cool! I couldn't find a really good fitting sticker for my ring fingers, much to my dismay, but I don't think most people are likely to notice. There's just a bit of nail showing on the far sides. Some of the stickers I picked were in fact too large, but that is easily remedied by carefully running the cuticle stick along the sides several times until it just cuts off the excess.

So, I'm really hard on my hands and nails at work. Lots of washing and sanitizing, as well as other nail brutalities. I'm very curious to see how long these last! I've already decided that if I can get a good five days, that that is awesome in my book. Ten - I don't even see how that could be possible. We will see! Stay tuned!

Here is my latest TiNS manicure, The Snow Love.

I thought this would be appropriate because I wish I was somewhere where there was snow right now. I love snow. I miss the snow.

This is three coats and it applied very well. I had no problems with the brush or anything else.

It's a pretty unique color in my collection, being a very soft, almost white, gray.

It's like the prettiest, sparkliest, dirty snow ever!

It almost looks like there are tiny black bits very randomly, but I'm nearly positive there are not. I think the big chunks of clear glitter just reflect a certain way that looks almost black sometimes.
