 The top pink bottle above is Rainbow Honey Be Mine and the purple and pink glitter mix below is Papillon.
 I used two coats of Be Mine and dabbed on a coat of Papillon for my accent.  Two coats of top coat were enough to smooth over the beautiful butterfly!
 I have to say that I really love the color of Be Mine in these pictures.  I'm going to sound like a total weirdo by saying that I really didn't care for it next to my skin tone in real life!  The gold flakie shimmer bits, however, are so lovely.
 With Papillion I did gently place the butterfly glitter just using the brush included.  I can't imagine that it would be too tricky to place a few through a full mani if one was so inclined.
 Speaking of placing cute glitters on a full mani - here we have just that with Rainbow Honey Summer Blossom over Illamasqua Monogamous.
 I absolutely adore this combination and felt super chic wearing it for about five days.
 By dabbing Summer Blossom over top of Monogamous, I was really easily able to achieve this look.  It reminds me of the Marc Jacobs Eau So Fresh packaging!

 I wore this fabulous and most sparkly manicure for about a week!
 I started with two coats of Orly Luxe, then added just a coat of Lippmann Glitter And Be Gay.
 I needed two coats of Gelous and then used my Sephora X top coat over everything.
 I am very pleased with this and I think Glitter And Be Gay is going to be really rad over lots of polishes!  The base is slightly tinted yellow, though, so you'll want to take that into consideration for layering.
 And if you are wondering, like I was, about the small glitters that look really dark, almost black, then I am here to tell you that they are in fact blue.  They just look black at certain angles.
 I think it might be a darker blue than the blue used for the larger hexes.
Also, if you haven't taken the time to fully drool over the holographic rainbow-y awesomeness of the bottle (see bottle just above), then please feel free to look over the entire post yet again!  I'm most fond of the third picture and then this one right above.  :)

For a chunky glitter, Glitter And Be Gay applied very easily.  I was careful and cautious, but the glitters dispersed themselves really evenly.  I did use occasional dabbing motions, but by and large it was painting.

 These are only bad news nails because I quite literally received some very bad news while I had them painted this way!
 Bad news aside, because we like to keep ze blog fluffy and pretty and full of glitter, sunshine, shimmer, and win.  :)  This is three coats of Nicole by OPI Yellow, It's Me topped with Candeo Sprouse.
 I used mainly painting motions with Sprouse, but did dab a little, as needed.
 A coat of Gelous under my top coat smoothed things nicely.
 I love this combo.  It's fun and a little funky.  I wish more blue bits had come out to play, and I almost don't like the silver glitters, but all in all I love the look.
The coppery pink shimmer in Yellow, It's Me is totally fab.  You can see it extra in the picture above because I must have snapped it just as the sun was going behind a cloud.  Hmm...  I guess the sun wouldn't really go behind a cloud.  The cloud would go in front of it.  Yeah.

This wore for a solid week on me!

 I received Kitsune, Kawako, and Oni just yesterday and was happy as could be to swatch them for you this morning.
 All swatches are shown with base coat, two coats of of polish, and a coat of top coat.  Kitsune is a golden peachy nude color with red tiny glitters, golden shimmers, and holo bits.
 I think it's really fresh and pretty.  It reminds me of beautiful golden sands or some kind of exotic bird egg shell!  The formula is on the thick side and will likely benefit from some thinner.
 If I were wearing this as a mani, I would definitely add an extra coat of top coat as well, to make the finish more smooth.
 Next is Kawako, a beautiful deep blue.
 When I saw the bottle, I thought for sure this would be my favorite.  It's dark, blue, super shimmery and glittery...what's not to love?!
 I must confess that I had some difficulty in application.  I ended up redoing my ring finger for the swatch pictures.  The first go around was very lumpy bumpy due to bits of flakies hiding in the polish.
 You can see the texture showing above.  It would for sure need extra topcoat and you do want to be careful in applying it.  Thin coats seem to help, but even still, things get a bit tricky on the second coat.
 I don't personally get the point of the flakie pieces in this particular polish as they don't seem to be apparent or visible.  Perhaps it is meant to be layered thinly over something else?  I'm just not sure.
 It's still quite pretty and I'm a big fan of the twinkling silver and blue glitters and shimmers.
 I'd like to try a thin coat of Kawako over black some time.
 Now for my head over heels favorite, Oni!
 Oni easily has my heart.  It's a blackish base with tons of yellow gold, white gold, purple, and what appears to be black glitters and shimmers.  Some of the pieces are irregular shaped, albeit very small.
 The overall effect is absolutely stunning!  I heart it so much.
 Application and formula were excellent.
 This is a polish I can see myself wearing a lot.  It's dark and brooding, regal and sparkly, and totally badazz.
I really love Rainbow Honey polishes, so a huge thanks to Dee for sending these to me!  I'm very much looking forward to wearing them soon.  :)

 I've been wearing this combo since very late on Wednesday night.  That is four days, Nation!!
 The success in duration is largely in part to my nails being super short, I'm sure of it.
 Here I started with a coat of StrangeBeautiful polish from the Dickensian volume.  It's a very dark gray and looks black on, actually.  It has tiny silver sparkles.  It was opaque in one coat, however, gave me all sorts of application grief with a wonky curved brush and thick, gloppy formula.
 Nonetheless, the StrangeBeautiful did its job in providing me with good underwear for Hits Borealis!  I used one coat of Borealis and then two coats of Butter London top coat after.
 Borealis has a somewhat large and fluffy brush, but didn't give me much trouble while applying.  I got too much glittah on my ring finger, but I don't think it's really noticeable.
 I LOVE this mani.  I'm so glad to have had it on for four days!  I'm going for a fifth, tomorrow, too, which might end up being a record or something.  I suppose I really should keep my nails super short all the time so I can have better wear!  :)

 I have to give myself credit here - this combo is really fun!
 I started with three slightly streaky coats of Essence Mellow Yellow.
 Then I added a careful coat of Candeo Zef.  I followed with a coat of OPI DS top coat and Butter London top coat.
 Zef is really thick, so I was worried about how it would apply.  I have to say, it actually did great!  The glitters nicely dispersed themselves for the most part and I really like how it turned out.  I used careful painting motions along with occasional dabbing.
 My friend at work pointed out that this color combination reminds her of the t.v. show Saved by the Bell.  So true!!
 I haven't done any actual nail art in a long time, but this type of look makes me feel like a cheater.  It's easy, awesome, cheater, lazy person nail art!
I think Zef will look fun over lots of colors:  light blue, lime green, lavender, soft gray.  What do you think?  I'm curious to see what combinations others come up with who have this!
