 The top pink bottle above is Rainbow Honey Be Mine and the purple and pink glitter mix below is Papillon.
 I used two coats of Be Mine and dabbed on a coat of Papillon for my accent.  Two coats of top coat were enough to smooth over the beautiful butterfly!
 I have to say that I really love the color of Be Mine in these pictures.  I'm going to sound like a total weirdo by saying that I really didn't care for it next to my skin tone in real life!  The gold flakie shimmer bits, however, are so lovely.
 With Papillion I did gently place the butterfly glitter just using the brush included.  I can't imagine that it would be too tricky to place a few through a full mani if one was so inclined.
 Speaking of placing cute glitters on a full mani - here we have just that with Rainbow Honey Summer Blossom over Illamasqua Monogamous.
 I absolutely adore this combination and felt super chic wearing it for about five days.
 By dabbing Summer Blossom over top of Monogamous, I was really easily able to achieve this look.  It reminds me of the Marc Jacobs Eau So Fresh packaging!

 Rainbow Honey just released a brand new collection of 15 polishes called "The Final Battle."  They were generous enough to send me three mini polishes to review here.
 This first one is called Phoenix Down.  I have layered one coat over a coat of black polish.  I used top coat and base coat in all of these pictures.
 Phoenix Down is super cool!  It's got loads of good stuff in it and applied very easily.  I love the combination of white shards, red squares, and the iridescent bars that look blue over the black!
 Check out the teeny tiny little bar glitters, too!  So cool!
 I'm sure this one would look really great over lots of colors.
 This is the second polish I got and it's called Hellfire.
 Here I've layered it over one coat of Illamasqua Scarab.  I was going to use black again, but then noticed that Hellfire has tiny little black glitters in it.  They get lost in the mix, I'm afraid, but I still like how this looks over blackened red.
 Do you see the star on my ring finger?  This one applied very easily, as well.
 I love the red squares and the gold bars...and pretty much everything going on here!
 Last up is Emerald Weapon.  I did two coats of it here.
 It's super pretty and shimmery!  Ignore the one random blue glitter on my ring finger (if you see it) - that was lurking in my top coat and has nothing to do with Emerald Weapon.  Oops!
 This one applied very easily as well.  I'm happy that it only needed two coats.  It's a very lovely shade of blueish green.
Overall, I am impressed, as usual.  I'm probably going to be ordering the entire collection because it looks fantastic!  You can check it out at Rainbow Honey's site here.

 This is two coats of Illamasqua Pink Raindrops.
 The formula was just slightly thick, but still easy for me to apply.  I made sure to wait about five minutes between the first and second coat.
 I love how pretty and almost nude this is on me!  My dear father actually noticed this mani and complimented me on it.  That means a lot - he's usually very quiet about my nail polish.  :)

My wear time on this was a little less than expected.  I wore it for about three days, I think, before I had a decent sized chip.  

I love the delicate iridescent shimmer!

 I've been mildly obsessed with Illamasqua Purity as of late.  I just love how it looks on me.
 I'm pretty sure you've seen it here before - now you'll see it again with Lynnderella Ice the Snowcake over top!  I adore this combo.
 I used 1-2 coats of Ice the Snowcake, using brush stroke movements as well as dabbing.  Mostly the glitters were well behaved - only once did I have trouble with them wanting to clump up on each other.
As I recall, I used two coats of Gelous and then finished with Sephora X top coat.  Not perfectly smooth, but super shiny and good enough for me!  :)  I wonder if I'll ever tire of Purity.

 This is Illamasqua Swinger, two coats.
 Application was terrific and I barely needed clean-up.  Wait - maybe I didn't even do clean-up.
 Check out the gorgeous sparklies in the sun!
 The holo is very subtle, but definitely makes this one extra special for me.

 And just because, a picture of a beautiful baby Masai giraffe from about a week ago.  I don't know if this is a boy or girl, but I do know that he/she is just shy of two months old here.
If you ever get a chance to go to the Brevard County Zoo, do go!  Such an awesome little zoo.  I always have a blast there.  :)

 For this mani I used Orly Lucky Duck and Illamasqua Mottle.
 I used two coats of each and both had very good applications.  For the Mottle fingers (index on my right hand) I am pretty sure I used a coat of Gelous under my regular top coat.
It's sad that I'm that far behind on my posts that I can't remember for sure!  :(  All the more reason to post more frequently and catch right up!  :)

 Here is Illamasqua Purity.  It's even better in person!
 It looks just a little paler and fleshier in real life - but is still quite different enough to be a real peach and not nude.  I adore this and got many compliments on it.
 I am pretty sure I only needed two coats.
 Next is Essie Pretty Edgy.  I want to say I only used two coats of it - but it might possibly have been three.  My memory - not very good!
 You can see from my junky looking bottle that it's old and needs more shaking (although I shook it quite a bit!).  My pictures, fortunately, do not show much of the bubbles I had in the polish from shaking it too too much just prior to applying!  D'oh!  It was still a pretty mani that I very much enjoyed.

 I'm tired of being back-logged on pictures and posts, so voila, here is a catch up post!  This first one is a dark grayish green StrangeBeautiful topped with OPI Simmer and Shimmer.  One coat of each.
 Below is Butter London Jack the Lad.  I believe it was just two coats, but don't quote me on that.
 Much prettier in the bottle, under the beaming lights at Nordstorm, but still lovely on the nail.
 Next up is Illamasqua Creator at two coats.  I freaking love this one, no surprise there.
 I'm not sure why I decided to include the above blurry picture, but we'll just move right along and get to some that are in focus.
 Creator has tiny silver particles that resemble flakes.  They are irregular in shape.  Also, there are very occasional holo glitters (see that one blue twinkle in the bottle above?) and medium sized silver hexes (I think).
 You can see a silver hex on the very edge of my middle finger below.  Great formula, as always.
 And now for the voting day nails!  I used a coat of RBL Teal and then topped it with a coat of Shimmer Polish Nicole.
 I really loved wearing this because it was so festive and pretty.  It wore well for a good three days, too.  Yeah, that's "good" for me.  Anything past two days is good in my book.
 I love the glitters in Nicole - the shapes, the colors, the ratios, the dispersion.  Love, love, love it!  I used a combination of dabbing and painting motions to apply it.  Shimmer polishes can be found here, although it appears the shop is closed until Nov. 26.
 I may have saved the best for last, which is Pahlish Toxic and Timeless!
 I used two coats and this mani also wore for a respectable three days.  I finished the mani with Gelous, Instant Artificials, and then Butter London's quick dry top coat.  It was perfectly smooth and glassy.
 I had more big yellow hexes on my right hand, probably because I didn't take the time to shake my bottle super thoroughly and it had settled some when I grabbed it to do my mani.  Nonetheless, I absolutely adore the result, the polish, and it lived up to my every grand expectation!
If you don't have Toxic and Timeless, I'm going to say that you need to get it!  It's amazing.  Check out all of Pahlish's wonderful creations here.  I'm really excited about her upcoming holiday collection.  Cannot wait!
